"...Why do any of us want to be here?"
"...to learn, grow, be with others like ourselves, and to become a part of a family an order a group that is devoted to what we believe so I ask what is the diffrence if we call ourselves Jedi or Sith or Grey? We all believe in the Force and want to grow to become better than what we are right now." -- Jedi Youngling
"Perception is a very personalized thing. You can ask a person if some color is more orange than red, and even if there is an equal mix, you'll get different answers based on how they perceive it (especially since orange already has red, making it more of a personalized answer...) "
"The way some perceive the force is very different than others. Some think of it as sentient, others simply think it a tool of sentient beings. Some believe it guides, others believe it is to be guided. "
"It's what makes the world interesting, dull, exciting, boring, happy, sad, peaceful, chaotic, enigmatic, and uniform. It'd be no fun otherwise" -- Jedi Urak
The Jedi Religion
It’s hard to write down in words everything that a Jedi is supposed to be; a Jedi is a Jedi, and it’s a unique way of life.
We don't claim to own or control the Jedi Path. Everyone is welcome to have their own views and intreptations of what a Jedi is. But for the sake of having a Jedi Community, we had to agree on some points and teachings for the group, therefore we opted for the most basic of Jedi teachings. You can't have any group unless you have a basic structure, or framework, and a common set of beliefs. These teachings give us a foundation for the Congregation.
If a Jedi teaching appeals to you, and feels true to you, then try to follow that teaching. I think that all of the Jedi Teachings make sense and are good, but everyone has to decide for themselves what path they will follow. MTFBWY Always! Jedi Kidohdin circa 2004
