I think that ultimately yes Karma does exist. I've seen enough examples in my lifetime thus far to easily say as much. Call it irony but what comes around certainly seems to go around. Is it mere coincidence? I don't know. From what I have seen when you do something bad it definitely comes back to bite you. When you do something good, something good in turn does happen. I don't really think that everything that happens to us IS karma in effect though because sometimes shit just happens and you all know the phrase "Why do bad things happen to good people?". Well I think that is because it's not a perfect world, but when these negative things happen to us that is the opportunity to create the karma we will eventually receive. For example, if someone hits you in traffic you have a couple choices on how to react and handle the situation. Based on that reaction, you may or may not have good or bad karma coming back to you.
Justice, is a whole other story IMHO. I think justice is pretty....how do I say it.....Bull*hit. The justice in this country seems to be doled out by the very people who should be brought to it. I smoke marijuana, and according to the law in order to be brought to justice I should be in jail, face hefty penalties, and probably have a few years of probation that will land me back in jail anyways because it's a fixed system, and basically my life should be made as difficult and strenuous as possible. That's not exactly what I would call justice, especially considering the fact that what I do hurts no one, doesn't negatively effect my life, and is done in the privacy of my own home. Then I've seen people who do all kinds of illegal stuff that really is harmful to others get away with it for years and years. Eventually they all get busted, but are they brought to task for everything they have done? No. Then they are right back out doing the same thing, but ME? No no no, can't have a stoner out there doing no harm to anyone, that might unsettle the fabric of society.
Does the hard work and diligence of a good man pay off? Depends on how you are talking. Is that person financially stable as a result or are they still scraping by and struggling to live a somewhat comfortable life? Does it tax their mind and body to the point that they don't have the motivation or energy to much else? There's a lot of questions there. I don't know about this one. In this world it really seems that a lot of the people who really don't deserve "the good life" get it, and those that really do, don't. That's not justice if you ask me, that's the poor staying poor and the rich staying rich.
