About the Jedi Sanctuary
ULC Ministry
JK and Seven,
Just a word of encouragement for a webpage when you have time.
It is really sad what is out there now which say they are Jedi. People
arguing over ranks, distancing themselves from Star Wars, denying that
Jedi have any powers and sometimes even embracing the darkside.
I understand another one of these has recently self destructed - for the usual reasons, I assume.
A webpage is greatly needed which would be like this group which I
believe is the best and I've looked at many.
I think though, it would have to be protected against those who would
cause harm.
Such a website could bring great good.

About the Jedi Sanctuary Congregation Yahoo Group!
We are a certified Jedi congregation of the Universal Life Church (file # 61842). For this group, no one is a higher level of Jedi than anyone else. We are all on the same level. Please be respectful of other members and visitors. If you disagree with another member’s messages, try to do so in a non-offending, tactful way. "The Force" is used to address God or the Higher Power at the Yahoo Group. Membership is simply by joining the Yahoo Group. The JS has zero tolerance for sexual harassment and sexual misconduct of any type. MTFBWY!
The Jedi Creed:
- Jedi are the guardians of peace in the Galaxy.
- Jedi use their powers to defend and protect, never to attack others.
- Jedi respect all life, in any form.
- Jedi serve others rather than rule over them, for the good of the Galaxy.
- Jedi seek to improve themselves through knowledge and training.
The Jedi Code:
- There is no emotion; there is peace.
- There is no ignorance; there is knowledge.
- There is no passion; there is serenity.
- There is no death; there is the Force.
Many groups begin with much initial enthusiasm. With so many potential pitfalls and distractions, it is not uncommon for groups to drift apart, or worse, to crumble under the weight of petty politics. The Jedi Sanctuary is an excellent model for other ULC groups. I wish you many honorable years of peaceful pursuit of spiritual truth.

Hey everybody! It's me, Lui. And, today I'm going to share with you an oppinion about a show I watched on MTV Latinamerica about some days ago.
This show is called "Urban Myths", and this show talked about some polls that were made in Australia and England about what was the religion of the teenagers. Also, they were asking if it was a true myth or false that the Jedi religion was really considered a religion.
They said that because in the polls made, most of the teenagers and other people put "Jedi" as their religion and not others. And, they showed some people (important people!), and even some people from the Vatican and muslims and stuff... AND THEY ALL SAID JEDI WASN'T A RELIGION!!! THAT IT WAS ALL A FAKE!!! THAT IT WAS ONLY ANOTHER ONE OF GEORGE LUCAS'S FANTASIES!!!! GEEZ, WHO DO THEY THINK WE ARE??? At the end of the show, they said that the myth of Jediism being a religion was absolutely false and that there was no discussion about it.
Geez, again, who do they think we are? I know we're now a registered religion and everything, so why do they say that? They don't see that the other religions don't seem to satisfy everyone else. They're too corrupted!!!
Anyways, I hope you have a good time, and you tell me later what did you think about this.
May the Force be with you, 'till there is nothing left.
^.^!Lui!^.^! (YES WE ARE A REAL RELIGION!!)
The Jedi Sanctuary is an official, certified
congregation of the Universal Life Church. Our ULC
I.D. number is 61842. Many of us are ordained ULC
ministers but ordination is not required. If the
thought of being ordained speaks to you, then go for
it.
In existence since 1959, the Universal Life Church is
headquartered in Modesto, California, and has
congregations around the world. http://www.ulc.net/
The sun never sets on the Universal Life Church. ULC
ministers come from all walks of life and spiritual
traditions. Our common thread is our adherence to the
universal doctrine of religious freedom:
"Do only that which is right".
Every person has the natural right (and the
responsibility) to peacefully determine what is right.
We are advocates of religious freedom.
The Universal Life Church wants you to pursue your
spiritual beliefs without interference from any
outside agency, including government or church
authority.
You may become a legally ordained minister for life,
without cost, and without question of faith.
Become ordained here today and begin your own
ministry! As a legally ordained minister, you may
perform weddings, funerals, baptisms and other
functions of the clergy.

All Religions
By A ULC Minister
I've had many people ask me what religion I believe in
and dedicate myself to. My answer is "all religions"
and here is the explanation of that belief:
No religious person questions the fact that God placed
plants and their seeds all around the world, each in
the environment where they can grow and flourish. I
believe that in this way God placed the seeds of his
religion throughout the world, each in a way that the
people of that portion of the world could understand
and could worship.
I have studied religions ranging from ancient Hopi and
Hinduism all the way to the more modern religions of
Christianity and the Muslim Faith. They all carry
within them many similarities and the same basic
truths.
We live in an age where science has become almost a
religion unto itself, yet the more science learns
about the history of ancient times the more the old
religious texts are holding up. Why then are men still
killing men over the basic human right to worship as
they please? Why does one faith keep trying to win
over another and hold that only their belief is the
correct one when both people believe basically the
same thing?
Unfortunately, the answer to these questions can only
be "Money and Power". For centuries religion has been
used as a political weapon and force by those
benefiting most by the continuation of separatist
visions of religion.
I call for the assertion of logic in these times. The
belief in God, in any form and by any name is a basic
right, a freedom and is always good.
Encourage the belief in God. Foster the belief in
Faith, and welcome all mankind into a future of
unanimous religious expression! -By A ULC Minister
Most of the Jedi here are also ordained ministers of
the on-line Universal Life Church in Modesto, CA, the
home town of George Lucas. This group is an on-line
Jedi congregation of the ULC, registration # 61842.
